Ocado reiterates customer acquisition and price approach as factors for success
As its revenues grow, Ocado Retail is optimising its marketing approach while focussing on customer acquisition and loyalty.
Ocado Retail has reiterated the strength of its customer acquisition and marketing push for helping to drive revenues in its half year 2025 results, consolidating its position as “the fastest growing grocer in the UK market” over the past 12 consecutive months.
The Ocado Group saw its revenues increase by 13.2% to £674m in H1. Ocado Retail specifically saw a 16.3% increase, driven by a 14.7% order growth to 491,000 orders a week on Ocado.com, compared to 428,000 a year prior.
In a call to investors today (17 July), group CFO Stephen Daintith said Ocado Retail saw a “really strong set of numbers”.
