Airbnb promises ‘best of both’ with new look services and experiences

Part of its ongoing push into categories outside overnight stays, Airbnb has launched services, experiences and a new app to give users the “best of both worlds”.

Airbnb wants to align more closely with the proposition offered by hotels, as it expands into services and experiences in a wider push to become “more than just stays”.

Announced today (13 May) at a flagship event in Los Angeles, the company is rolling out Airbnb Services, Airbnb Experiences and a newly redesigned app to its 200 million verified users.

“People choose hotels for their services, people choose Airbnbs for the space,” says CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky, adding the new offers give users the “best of both worlds”.
