Tesla’s struggles in Europe continued in April, as the manufacturer sold just 7,261 vehicles across the European Union and the UK, a 49% year-on-year decline.

Fresh data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association shows the Elon Musk-owned electric car brand has seen its sales across the entirety of 2025 fall by 38.8% to 61,320 new car registrations.

This is despite the company launching its new Model Y vehicle earlier this year, after which it would normally expect to see sales jump off the back of the excitement.
