UK firms disappear from list of world’s most valuable brands

As global tech giants dominate Kantar’s 2025 BrandZ most valuable brands list, no British businesses make this year’s top 100.

There are no longer any UK businesses in the top 100 most valuable brands list, according to Kantar’s global BrandZ ranking.

UK-headquartered brands are entirely absent from the 2025 ranking, with US brands dominating the list. Last year, Vodafone (93) and HSBC (98) were the only British brands to make it into the top 100.

This year new entrants – including mobile processor chip company Snapdragon (38), gen AI chatbot ChatGPT (60) and streaming service Spotify (76) – have pushed UK-headquartered brands out of the list.
