The best tagline in the world… probably

Probably the best beer in the world. It’s a bold statement. And even if you don’t agree with it, chances are you’re thinking of Carlsberg.

The line was first introduced in 1973 and has been a regular feature in the Danish brewer’s advertising on and off in various guises ever since.

It’s why when Yves Briantais took over as CMO last year, he made the call to make even more of it. “How many brands in the world enjoy such an asset that everybody knows… It was impossible to move away from it,” Briantais told us this week.
