Does having a marketing qualification make a difference when it comes to getting ahead in your career?
The more than 3,500 respondents to Marketing Week’s 2025 Career & Salary Survey seem to think so. Nearly three-quarters (71.2%) say having a marketing qualification has either personally helped them progress or helped others advance.
Breaking this down, 50.5% of the total sample say having a marketing qualification has benefitted them personally, while a fifth (20.7%) believe it has helped their peers even if they themselves don’t have one.
