Nintendo’s follow-up to its monstrously successful Nintendo Switch console hits store shelves tomorrow (5 June) – but would you know it?

While Nintendo Switch 2 will launch tomorrow alongside a new Mario Kart game and a bunch of other exciting titles, it is fair to say Nintendo’s marketing efforts – at least in the UK – have been muted at best.

Of course, I’m a sample of one, but I can’t recall seeing a single TV commercial, VOD spot or OOH communication in the build up to its arrival. Considering it’s the successor to one of the best-selling video game consoles of all time that’s more than a little odd.
